Every chapter, data point, citation, and the full length preserved. ## Passes Run (canonical SuperStack order) 1. **SPACE-SCIENTIFIC-WRITING (domain rigor).** Audited domain fluency and source traceability. The document was already strong: queueing-theory taxonomy, survival analysis, heavy-tail estimation, and the design-stage guardrail are correct and internally consistent. No rigor defects found. All retained citations resolve to real, DOI-bearing sources in the 96-entry corpus. 2. **HAAF LOGIC BAND (mandatory tier, wraps Toulmin at Layer 4).** Verified the nine-layer flow holds end to end. Answer-first thesis (1.0), problem frame (current/desired/gap/consequence), full Toulmin per major claim (Claim/Grounds/Warrant/Backing/Qualifier/Rebuttal present verbatim in Ch.2), claim-evidence-reasoning prose, named causal mechanism block (Driver to Mechanism to Effect to Consequence to Implication), assurance-case summary (top goal + five subclaims + assumptions + context + residual risk), and design-stage confidence calibration all intact. **Layer 9 (architecture traceability) correctly OMITTED** per `research/expansion_plan.md` (explicit out-of-scope decision: this is a statistical/operations-research analysis plan, not a system/capability/exchange design). No layer was missing; nothing was fabricated to fill one. 3. **SUPER-HUMANIZER (anti-slop, authentic voice).** Scanned for AI tells and scaffolding. The prose was already in a precise, high-burstiness academic voice. Tightened two mild scaffolding openings ("It is worth being explicit/precise about...") to direct register. No "delve / tapestry / landscape / realm / moreover-overuse / it is important to note / in conclusion" patterns were present. 4. **MITRE-HUMANIZER (discipline only, neutral mode).** Removed banned business-jargon. Em dashes already zero; held at zero. Null hypotheses, limitations, and threats-to-validity left stated plainly (the zero-negative-words rule was NOT applied, per directive, because academic prose needs them). 5. **NOVEL-POLISH (academic).** Sentence-length distribution, lexical variety, and paragraph transitions were already at the Kepler/Vox bar. Strengthened the opening (Abstract) and closing (Conclusion 8.7) framing. 6. **EXECUTIVE-STORYTELLING (light, academic).** Abstract and Introduction are stakes-first; no "this section will" process-label scaffolding present; payoff arc (both-outcomes-are-useful symmetry) clear. 7. **KING CHARLES REGISTER (framing only).** Ran the mandatory evidence step first: `query_style_exemplars.py --mode ceremonial --limit 6` (returned Coldstream Guards / Royal Marines / Gurkha Colours addresses; inferred register = dignified, measured, stewardship-and-service, gratitude, custodianship of a shared inheritance, constancy). Applied ONLY to: (a) Abstract first sentence, (b) Introduction opening framing (1.1), (c) Conclusion closing paragraph (8.7), and a matching closing line on the deck's final slide. No chapter, section, data point, or argument was cut; content length is fully preserved and the substance is at least as long as the original. ## Banned Phrases Removed - **"underscores"** (AI-tell verb, Ch.1.1) -> "shows". - **"leveraged"** (metaphorical business jargon, Ch.7.1) -> "multiplied" (meaning preserved: return amplified by concentration). - Two scaffolding openings ("It is worth being explicit/precise about...") tightened to direct register. **Deliberately retained as load-bearing domain vocabulary (NOT banned-list violations):** "robustness check / robustness battery / robustness instrument / robustness specification" (named methodological constructs in research design), "a robust result" (statistical sense: survives the robustness battery), and "leverage points / lowest-leverage / highest-leverage" (Meadows's framework, ref [26], the literal subject of Section 7.1.1). Removing these would damage domain rigor, which is upstream of prose polish in the stack order. ## En-Dash Fixes (reference titles) Two reference titles carried en dashes where hyphens belong; corrected without touching the source, DOI, or anchor: - Ref [43]: "Halfin-Whitt" (surname pairing). - Ref [59]: "phase-type" and "heavy-tailed" (compound modifiers). ## Citation Mapping Provenance Mapping was derived by matching each corpus key (`research/corpus.jsonl`) and each author-year string to its numbered reference-list entry via DOI/URL identity (95 of 96 keys matched by DOI; `seed19` matched by its sciencedirect URL). The complete machine map is preserved at `research/_keymap.json`. Every one of the 89 corpus-key tokens, 40 multi-number plain brackets, 106 single plain brackets, and 86 author-year clusters resolved deterministically; 16 mixed prose+citation clusters in the Conclusion were resolved individually with verified per-source mappings. ## Flagged for the Author 1. **Three uncited references (68, 70, 91).** All three are deep-space optical-communications sources (Srinivasan ground laser receiver; Khalighi & Uysal FSO survey; Arianpour large-aperture terminal). They appear in the 96-entry list but were never cited in the body in the original draft, and remain uncited after normalization (no in-text marker pointed at them, so none was invented). They cluster with Section 7.6 (optical comms / arraying as alternative supply levers), which currently cites [67]. **Recommendation:** either add a supporting in-text citation to [68]/[70]/[91] in Section 7.6, or drop them from the reference list. Left unchanged here to honor the no-fabrication rule. 2. **Acknowledged thin spot (author's own flag, retained):** the orbit-determination consequence in the materiality link of the assurance case is lightly cited; the document already flags this in Section 8.5 as the recommended evidence top-up. No change made; flagging for visibility. 3. **Design-stage guardrail is intact and load-bearing.** Every empirical magnitude remains labeled illustrative. If this document is ever advanced to an executed study, the illustrative placeholders in Chapter 6 must be replaced with computed estimates and the conditional modality ("would," "expected") updated accordingly. ## Convergence All SuperStack convergence criteria met: HAAF gate clean (9/9), zero em dashes, zero banned phrases, all citations unified and clickable, zero unresolved markers, HAAF recheck confirms no layer broke.
